Name: Akizuki Youjirou　秋月耀次朗
Profile: The legendary Eien no Shikaku 永遠の刺客(Eternal Assassin). Bearer of the legendary sword, Getsuruitou 月涙刀(Lunar Tears Sword). He has the task of using his sword to destroy the Hasha no Kubi 覇者の首(Head of the Conqueror).
A friend and also a bodyguard of the late Sakamoto Ryouma 坂本龍馬. He failed to protect Ryouma against an assassination and this has haunt him till the current day as that day of the assassination, his Getsuruitou pointed to another direction for sensing the presence of the Hasha no Kubi and left Ryouma unguarded to fulfill his quest that was entrusted to him. The Getsuruitou was the 1 that lead him to his 1st meeting with Ryouma(for some reason Getsuruitou pointed towards Ryouma's direction when Akizuki was wandering around for clues for his quest). Having nothing to do at the moment, he accepted Ryouma's request of becoming his bodyguard.

Name: Yuyama Kakunojou 遊山赫乃丈
Profile: The young lady & the leader of the Yuyama troupe. Her parents who were merchants were murdered by Hario Genba 針尾玄藩 as part of the Ansei Purges for being supporters for the Emperor's side. She was saved by her father's friend, Zagashira 座頭 & Ebisu 恵比須 who was an apprentice. The trio thus formed the troupe and travel around to find Hario for revenge. Ibaragi Soutetsu 茨木蒼鉄, Shiranui Kozo 不知火小僧 and Kakashi no Keishin 案山子の恵信 joined in later on. Soutetsu made a deal with her troupe that he will exposed the evil deeds within their shows on stage and help them with their revenge(he jus wana use them anyway). The other 2 joined in as they were attracted to the group's ideals. Her troupe saved them initially 1st though.

Name: Ibaragi Soutetsu 茨木蒼鉄
Profile: An extremely intelligent playwright of the Yuyama troupe. Well respected by each member of the group even though they know they are sort of being used for the deal of pursuing their revenge, they call him sensei. He wants the Hasha no Kubi.

Story: (Direct copy and paste from wiki)
The Shogunate is in its final years, and war is fast approaching. When Akizuki Yojirou, a dark and mysterious mercenary, nears something supernatural with some kind of importance to him, the ornament on the end of his sword hilt waves in its direction, his eyes glow mysteriously, and he is driven to go after it. He comes across a traveling theater group who is out for revenge for killing the parents of the group's leader, and whose mysterious playwright likes to secretly help along events of history. Yojiro joins them to lend them his skill against their enemies, while dark conspiracy continues to follow behind him.
